David A. Dornish, 64, of 355 N. Michael Street, St. Marys, died on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at his home following a lengthy illness.

He was born on May 6, 1952, in St. Marys, a son of the late James Dornish and Helen Samick Dornish Fredrickson.

Dave was a lifelong resident f of the area and graduated from ECCHS, class of 1970.  He served in the Army from 1971-1973 in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.  He was a friend to all and enjoyed bowling.

He is survived by three sisters, Pamela Sorg, Julia (John) Hackett, and Janine (Ralph) Kneidel all of St. Marys, and by one brother, Tobias Dornish of New Castle.  He is also survived by a step-brother, Billy Fredrickson, and a step-sister, Karen Latshaw, both of Kersey, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel, Albert, and John Dosnish, by three sisters, Sharon Dornish, Cynthia Hanes, and Theresa McFall, and by a nephew, Timothy Hanes.

Funeral Services for David A. Dornish will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Elk Baptist Church, Ford Road, St. Marys, PA with Rev. Barry Moyer, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Military Honors will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen's Burial Detail.
