Patricia A. Preston, 67, of 1078 E. Eschbach Road, St. Marys, died peacefully at her home on Saturday evening, February 11, 2017, surrounded by her loving family

She was born on March 17, 1949, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late John "Buddy" and Eva Gagliardi Catalano.

On August 22, 1974 in Johnsonburg, she married William E. "Butch" Preston, who preceded her in death on December 3, 2011.

Mrs. Preston was a graduate of St. Marys High School, class of 1967 and was a member of Sacred Heart Church.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed suspense movies.  She loved trips with her husband, especailly shopping, fishing off the pier in Florida, and going to dinner.  Most of all, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
 
She is survived by a son Jonathan Preston and his wife Angel of Reminderville, OH, a daughter, Nicole Lenze and her fiance Chad Page of St. Marys, and by three grandchildren, Lucas Lenze, Jared Lenze and Cody Preston.  She is also survived by a brother, David (Sherry) Catalano of Jacksonville, and by a sister, Dolores McCue of Butler.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a special aunt, Dolly Mazzaferro.

Funeral and Committal Services for Patricia A. Preston will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to any childhood cancer foundation.
