Adrienne N. Baumgratz

Adrienne N. Baumgratz, 83, of 233 Parkview Road, St. Marys, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.

She was born on October 20, 1935, in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late Adrian Boyd.

In May, 1955, she married Merle "Banana" Baumgratz, who preceded her in death on December 16, 1981.

Mrs. Baumgratz began her career as an executive secretary at Carbon City, retiring in 2003 after many years of service.  She greatly enjoyed playing Bingo and trips to Salamanca.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends and was greatly anticipating the birth of her first great-grandchild.

She is survived by five daughters, Kathleen Baumgratz of St. Marys, Susan Georgino and her husband Michael of St. Marys, Glenda Gerg and her husband Tim of St. Marys, Diane Penny and her husband Shane of Nescopeck, and Marilyn Baumgratz and her fiance Kevin Gnan of St. Marys,  She is also survived by two grandchildren, Jonathan (Debora) Georgino of San Francisco, and Joseph Georgino of Pittsburgh, and by two step-grandchildren, Erica Gnan and Kevin J. Gnan, both of St. Marys.

In addition to her father and her husband, she was preceded in death by  a brother, Paul Boyd.

Funeral and Committal Services for Adrienne N. Baumgratz are held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
