Lois A. (Riddle) McCoy

Lois A. (Riddle) McCoy, 82, of 702 S. Michael Road, St. Marys, died on Friday, July 13, 2018 at her home.

She was born on September 30, 1935, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late  Joseph and Bertha Schwabenbauer Riddle.  

Lois was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1953 and a member of Queen of the World Church.  She lived in Florida for nearly 30 years before returning home to St. Marys.  She worked at MexAmerica for a number of years and enjoyed the beach.  She also enjoyed caring for her home and spending time outdoors.  Above all, Lois was a dedicated mother and grandmother who greatly enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Pamela McCoy of Charlotte, NC, a son, Donald (Anne) McCoy of Napa, CA, and by three grandchildren, Curtis, Connor and Caelyn McCoy.  
She is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Hoffman of Allentown, PA, Ellen Hoffmann of Canandaigua, NY, and by three brothers, Marvin (Helen) Riddle of St. Marys, Francis (Carol) Riddle of Portsmouth, NH, and Gerald (Sue) Riddle of St. Marys, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sr. Valentina, OSB and Mary Margaret Riddle in infancy, and by a brother, James Riddle.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lois A. McCoy will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at 12:00 PM at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Rev. Michael Ferrick officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 5-8 PM.
