Ruth Ann Uhl, 62, of 119 Hyatt Court, Kersey, died on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at her home followed by a lengthy illness.

She was born on May 4, 1955, in Ridgway, a daughter of the late Thomas and Zora Brendlinger Ford.  She was a graduate of Ridgway High School, class of 1973.

On May 14, 1977 in Ridgway Church of the Nazarene, she married Thomas Uhl, who survives.

Ruth Ann was a member of the Ridgway Church of Nazarene and worked for more than 34 years in Brockway at Owens-Illinois.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and camping,  She also cherished her two dogs, Princeton and Midnight.  Most of all, she loved and cared for her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of more than 40 years, Thomas Uhl, she is survived by two daughters, Melanie (Thomas) DiObilda of Morgantown and Anita (Luke) Nissel of DuBois, and by four grandchildren, Cara Jo and Zachary DiObilda and Alexis and Mason Nissel.  She is also survived by two brothers,Thomas Ford and Robert (Cindy) Ford, both of Ridgway,

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services for Ruth Ann Uhl will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Monday, July 31, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
