Debbra L. Ovell

Debbra L. Ovell, 66, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of Weedville and St. Marys, died on Monday, February 8, 2021 following a lengthy illness.
She was born on August 10, 1954, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Bertram "Bert" Ovell and Lucille Farabaugh Ovell, who survives of St. Marys.

Deb was a graduate of St. Marys High School and a member of Weedville Wesleyan Church.  An avid photographer, she could often be found taking beautiful pictures of nature, flowers, and sunsets.  Deb will be remembered as a kind hearted and happy lady who dearly loved animals.  In her free time, she also enjoyed sewing.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son; Clayton Pfeiffer and his fiance, Tara Temak of Weedville, two brothers; Robert Ovell of Georgia and Roger (Paula) Ovell of St. Marys, and by one sister; Kathryn (Jesse) Bennett of South Carolina.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and by two brothers; Bertram Ovell and Michael Ovell.

A Memorial Service for Debbra L. Ovell will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Weedville Wesleyan Church, 18945 Bennetts Valley Highway, Weedville, PA 15868 with Rev. Bryon Kleppinger, officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Elk County Humane Society or to the Weedville Wesleyan Church.
