Esther M. Miller

Esther M. Miller, 91, formerly of Pear Road, St. Marys, passed away at Pinecrest Manor on April 13, 2023, following a brief illness.

She was born on April 1, 1932 in St. Marys, a Daughter of the late Louis and Rose Sarginger Krieg.

On June 28, 1975, she married Jack Miller, who preceded her in death on November 12, 2003. Together they shared more than 28 years of love and marriage.

Esther was a graduate of St. Marys High School, class of 1950. She worked as nurse for many years, a job she took great pride in. Esther had resided in East Stroudsburg, PA, and Wildwood, FL before moving back to St. Marys in 2008. In her free time, Esther enjoyed putting jigsaw puzzles together and going to yard sales. Most of all she loved visiting with her family and friends.

She is survived by 3 siblings; Gary Krieg of Johnsonburg, Donna Yetzer of St. Marys and Carol Thomson of Pasadena, CA; by her 3 grandchildren; Kim, J'Mee, and Nikki; and by several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Esther was preceded in death by 4 brothers; Richard Krieg, Bill Krieg, Earl Krieg, and Howard Krieg.

Funeral Services for Esther M. Miller are being held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Burial will follow in the Middle Smithfield Cemetery in East Stroudsburg, PA.
