Jean M. Pearsall, 75, of 172 Robin Road, St. Marys, died at her home on Friday, January 28, 2022 following a brief illness.
She was born on January 4, 1947, a daughter of the late Harold and Anna Gardner.
She was married to the late Ronald E. Pearsall, he preceded her in death in 2007.
Jean was a lifelong resident of the area and had worked at Stackpole Carbon for a number of years. A proud supporter of the Special Olympics, Jean was awarded a plaque for her more than 42 years of service to the organization. In her free time, she enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and camping. In her younger years, she also loved riding motorcycles. A kind, gentle, and loving mother and grandmother, Jean will be remembered for her service to others, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
She is survived by three children; Robert Pearsall and his fiance Emily Mowrey, Ronald Pearsall, and Jane Cuneo, all of St. Marys. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Amy, Melissa, Sabrina, Davey, Isaac, and Jasper.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons; Nathan Pearsall and David Pearsall and by a brother; Harold Gardner.
A Memorial Service for Jean M. Pearsall will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home.
Family and friends will be received at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Special Olympics.
