Leshia Eberts Obituary

Leshia B. Eberts, 58, of Spruce Street, Johnsonburg, passed away at her home on April 1, 2023, following a lengthy battle with Lupus.

She was born on September 22, 1964, in Brookville, a daughter of John and Ida Grace Barnett Plyler ], who survive.

On April 15, 2019, she married Jeffrey Eberts, who survives. Together they shared their lives, having been together for more than 20 years.

In her free time, Leshia loved painting and doing arts and crafts. She also enjoyed being out in nature, especially while the sun was shining. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Leshia was a beautiful person who was always happy, and she would greet everyone with a smile and a hug.

In addition to her parents and her husband Jeff, she is survived by 3 children; Ian Rigby of Johnsonburg, Kayleigh Rigby of Pittsburgh, and Jason Heffner of Dubois; by 3 stepchildren; Daniel, Jessica, and Ashley, and by her 12 beloved grandchildren. She is also survived by 5 sisters; Connie Brosius, Michelle Keim, Lorie Baker, Jill Stephens and Amanda Plyler, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Leshia was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral Services for Leshia B. Eberts will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America.
