Michael Pichler Obituary

Michael W. "Mick" Pichler, 64, of 1438 Million Dollar Highway, Kersey, died on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Mountain Laurel Health Care in Clearfield following a lengthy illness.

He was born on October 11, 1956, in St. Marys, a son of the late Edward and Margaret "Peggy" Hannibal Pichler.

Mick was a lifelong resident of the area and graduate of St. Marys Area High School, class of 1974.  He served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army from 1975-1978, following in the footsteps of his uncle Leo, who served in the 101st Airborne Division.  Mick worked at Quala Die for more than 25 years, and was a member of the Dagus Mines Legion.  Over the years, he was active in Little League as a coach, and enjoyed spending time with his kids.  An avid outdoorsman, Mick enjoyed hunting and fishing, and never turned down the chance to take his 4-wheeler for a ride.

He is survived by one daughter; Raeane Feidler and her husband David of Kersey, two sons; Corey Pichler and his wife Jennifer of Harleysville, PA and Jerime Pichler and his wife Stephanie of Concord Twp, Ohio, and by two grandchildren; Zachary and Andrew.  He is also survived by two brothers; Steven (Deb) Pichler and Wayne Pichler, both of Kersey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Kyle Pichler, and by his uncle, Leo Pichler.

Funeral Services for Michael W. "Mick" Pichler will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffery Noble, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Fox Township Servicemens Detail.

Family and friends will be received at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Elk County Rides 4 Vets.
