Scott N. Covert

Scott N. Covert, 57, of 219 Spring Garden Avenue, Ridgway, died on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at UPMC Altoona following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born on August 9, 1961, in Belleville, New Jersey, a son of the late Curtis and Gladys Petersen Covert.

Scott had been employed by Harley-Davidson in DuBois for the last several years, and greatly enjoyed riding his motorcycle.  He also enjoyed classic cars and riding dirt bikes in his younger years.  Scott was a kind and loving father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.

He is survived by two daughters, Terrie Covert and Jessie Covert, both of Ridgway, a granddaughter, Haley Covert, and by his former wife, Lillian Covert.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Joseph, Eric and Christopher Covert.

Funeral and committal services for Scott N. Covert will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
